Washing Cashmere Socks
Cashmere socks, like any cashmere item, needs to be hand-washed to maintain the integrity of the cashmere fibres.
1) Add some cool water into a basin and add an approved specialist detergent.
2) Place your cashmere socks into the basin to soak in the water and detergent.
3) If you are washing your cashmere socks due to stain, spot treat with pre-wash wool stain soap before placing the item in the basin.
4) Stir the water around with your hands and soak items for up to 5 minutes.
5) No need to scrub or rub to clean, plus this will damage the cashmere fibres.
6) Rinse the socks with cool water to remove any residual detergent.
7) Remove your cashmere socks and gently squeeze water from the items by hand.
8) To further remove excess moisture from your cashmere accessory, wrap the item in a towel and lightly squeeze again, repeat as necessary.
9) Lay your socks flat in their natural shape to dry. Do not place your cashmere socks on a radiator or in direct sunlight to dry or in a tumble dryer.
10) Once dry your cashmere socks are ready to wear and store.
