Woven from 100% pure wool on a traditional loom by the Betli community in the Himalayas, this boxy, cropped Bolero Shirt is designed to move easily between roles. Button it up and wear it as a structured shirt, or leave it open and layer it like a light jacket.

The handwoven fabric carries flower-like motifs in varying sizes, creating a quiet rhythm across the surface—organic, imperfect, and alive. At approximately 250 g total garment weight, it feels warm yet breathable, making it an ideal companion across seasons, cities, and everyday moments.

Finished with natural wooden buttons, the focus remains on fabric, form, and function.

The story behind the weave

Handwoven on a traditional wooden loom, the fabric uses motifs in varying sizes. As the weave came together, the pattern began to recall flowers scattered across a mountain landscape—organic, rhythmic, and subtle rather than decorative.

The focus remains on material and structure, allowing the texture to speak without overpowering the garment.

Care Instructions

Wool is a natural, living fibre and may develop light pilling over time, especially in areas of movement or friction. This is completely normal and a sign of pure wool.

• Hand wash gently in cold water using a mild wool detergent

• Do not wring or twist

• Lay flat to dry or hang to air-dry

• Between wears, simply air it out — wool has natural self-cleaning properties

• If pilling occurs, gently remove it using a fabric or wool shaver

• Store folded when not in use

With the right care, the fabric will continue to soften and age beautifully.
